a qrter of my outdoor fruit, veggie garden this year. has anyone ever done this? results any better or different if so?

I have tried using " old dirt" but found it lacking especially growing tomatoes in the same pots.. BUT, if you mix the old with some really good, fresh soil it will pad out the new, " BUT". HERES THAT WORD AGAIN, you will have to feed your plants during the fruiting season. It is also better not to use the old, mixed soil for heavy feeding type plants .

Every spring you would
Add manure
Turn over the soil
Rake the soil and remove trash

You have to do the same with you older soil....
