Cheap easy patio container

Tue Apr 25, 2017 9:10 pm

Just grabbed these containers from dollar tree.. Added some paper towels to cover the holes so soil doesn't leak out.. Added my leaf lettuce seedlings, and voila! Cheap and easy container I can hang on my balcony fenceImage I especially love it because my garden is a floor below my kitchen.. And this will be within a few feet from my kitchen Image, and it takes no floor space! Now time to get more startedImage ImageImageImageImage

Great idea! Looks like they fit perfectly! The holes on the sides may be great for giving extra air to the roots. Hope that the paper will last. If not, try fabric.

Thanks.. I doubt the paper towels will last.. Lol.. But I'm hoping the roots will help hold the soil once they're more established
